Your New Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Consumer Claims Specialist to join our dynamic team. You will be administering customer complaints, particularly those related to Consumer Rights Act 2015 through to resolution. This role is very customer focussed, requiring you to provide an excellent claims service to our customers. Your proven claims handling experience will allow you to ensure professional and efficient management and presenting claims MI.
You will be administering claims on a daily basis and will be responsible for maintain accurate records on relevant systems for compliance and workflow purposes.
As part of our close-knit, high-performing team, you’ll work across a variety of legal disputes. This is a rare opportunity to combine your expertise with Saxton’s mission to deliver excellence in every facet of the business.
Key Responsibilities
· Team Support: Advise on a wide range of customer agreements, managing claims across different products and customer issues (e.g., FOS disputes), and related matters.
· Litigation Management: Oversee claims from start to resolution, preparing and managing all necessary documentation.
· Regulatory and Compliance: Collaborate with the Compliance and HR teams to maintain and improve governance processes, policies, and precedents.
· Reporting: Assist with regulatory submissions and reporting, including FCA returns, in partnership with internal departments.
Qualifications and Skills:
· This role may suit a Part-Qualified solicitor with 2+ years experience in consumer law, an experienced para- legal or similar.
· Proven track record of dealing with Consumer Rights disputes.
· Litigation and consumer experience is highly desirable.
· Exceptional analytical skills, capable of distilling legal concepts into clear, actionable advice.
· Excellent communication skills with the confidence to interact at all organisational levels.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other technology tools.
